TUFR FIRE RESISTANT
Stripwound Insulation with TUFR
TuFR™ is IPT's fire resistant mineral insulation paper for UL Class 200°C (N). Based on the successfull composition of the TUFQUIN it demonstrates the same mechanical and dielectrical performance such as the high mechanical strength of organic fibres with the excellent thermal and dielectric characteristics of mineral papers. Due to the high tensile strength of TuFR™ this material is often used for interlayer insulation in transformers.
Key Features
- UL System Recognition per UL 1446 ad IEC 61857 for Class 200(N)
- V0 for thickness >= 2,5mils (0,06mm)
- High resin absorption
- High thermal conductivity
- Cost Effective
