Polyimide Ahesive Tapes
Adhesive tapes with Polyimide are used for masking pruposes or application where highest temperature resistance is required.
The thermal classification of the polyimide adhesive tapes is related to the heat resistance of the adhesive material – 155°C for acrylic adhesive and 180°C for silicon adhesive.
The product is designed as electrical insulating tape for applications that demand high mechanical, thermal and dielectrical performance such as ground, phase, layer and barrier insulation in motors and transformers. Furthermore it is widely used for PCB wave soldering, hot air levelling and other bonding applications under high temperature. The self-stick of the tapes improves significantly handing and operation.
The semi-transparent film has a yellow/orange colour. The surface is even, free of wrinkles, blisters and impurities.
