Polyimide PGP
PGP is a flexible triplex laminate made of Polyimide Film/Non-Alkali Glass Fabric/Polyimide Film.
The film has a yellow/orange colour with translucent outer layers. The surface is even, free of wrinkles, blisters and impurities. The central glass fabric is made of continuous glass fibre yarn.
Polyimide film combines a high thermal resistance, anti-radiation and excellent dielectrical properties. The product is designed as electrical insulating material for applications in motors and transformers with continuous operation temperature ≥180°C. The central glass fabric adds significant mechanic tear resistance, stiffness and a limited shape memory for automatic insertion.
